The Potala Palace:
The Potala Palace is located on the Red Mountain in Northwest Lhasa City. It is a grand palace-castle building group composed by the white palace and red palace. It was first built for the marriage of Songtsan Gambo who was the leader of Xizang and Princess Wencheng who was the princess of Tang Dynasty. And now it is the rule center of the unification of the State and the church in Xizang. In 1994, Putala Palace was listed into the World Cultural Heritage.

Lhasa Gongga International Airport, 3,600 meters above the sea level, is located on the southern bank of Yalu Tsangpo River in Zhulin Town, Gongga County in Shannan Area of Xizang Autonomous Region. The establishment of Civil aviation Lhasa airport in 1965 really unveiled the mysterious veil of this third pole of the Earth.
-Railway Station
Lhasa Railway Station is located in Liuwu Town, Longdeqing County in southwest Lhasa City. It is 3,600 meters above the sea level and 20 km from Potala Palace. The main station building stands on the south part of the square beside the mountain and it covers an area of 23,600 square meters. The station is a two-tier italic architectural building with the height of 22.9 meters. The central hall on the first floor looks like a traditional Tibetan palace, but the electronic display screen and the escalator will bring you back to a modern society.
